The Over-The-Counter (OTC) or non-exchange market is a decentralized market where financial instruments are traded directly between two parties through a network of distributors through computer networks or by telephone. In addition to currencies, the main instruments traded on the OTC markets are bonds, commodities, futures and credit derivatives.

The instrumenst par excellence in the OTC market are Contracts for Difference (CFD). A CFD is a contract between two parties (buyer and seller) to exchange an underlying asset, but with the particularity that it is not necessary to have physical ownership of that instrument.

In addition to equities and commodities, the most traded CFD are those on indexes, futures, currencies and interest rates. In recent years, Spot Metals trading, both short and long term, has also grown very significantly due to its high liquidity.
